    SimFPGA

    VHDL Verification and Simulation Tool

SimFPGA is a graphical user interface (GUI) tool designed to facilitate the simulation of VHDL projects. It enables users to select VHDL source files and testbenches, configure library and standard settings, and run simulations using GHDL. Additionally, it allows visualization of waveforms through GTKWave. SimFPGA elaborates the project files using GHDL and builds the VHDL project before simulating it. This ensures code verification without the need for additional compilation tools. If an error is detected in any of the project files during elaboration or simulation, a message is displayed in the console indicating the type and location of the error, allowing the user to quickly resolve it.

    SIREN

    SIREN

    Renewable Energy Network tool

SIREN demonstrates how electricity demand may be met by a mix of renewable energy sources. Users explore potential location and scale of renewable energy sources (stations, storage, transmission) to meet electricity demand. SIREN allows you to build scenarios for the energy mix for your area of interest. It is based around the map of your chosen area and allows you to visualise the layout of the existing electricity network plus the additional stations you place on the map to build your scenario(s). The map initially shows the main skeleton of the existing electricity grid infrastructure and current generation stations. The strength of the simulation is in running the SAM models developed by US NREL for each renewable station in your current simulation. SAM calculates a list of power outputs for each hour of the year and shows how they meet the electricity demand and identify generation shortfalls. Weather files created from NASA (MERRA2) satellite data make it applicable worldwide

    Virtual Laboratory Environment

    Virtual Laboratory Environment

A multi-modeling and simulation environment to study complex systems

VLE is a multi-modeling and simulation environment to study complex dynamic systems. VLE is based on the discrete event specification DEVS. and it implements the DSDE formalism (A merge of Dynamic Structure DEVS, DSDEVS, with Parallel DEVS, PDEVS). VLE provides a complete set of C++ libraries, called VFL (VLE Foundation Libraries), to develop DEVS models, to gets results of simulations, to launch simulation on cluster. The models can be developed with the DEVS formalism or with the classical mathematical formalism: Ordinary Differential Equation with Euler, Range-Kutta or QSS integrator, Finite state automaton (FDDEVS, UML State chart, Hybrid Petri net). The VLE environment provides an IDE to develop C++ models, DEVS coupled models. VLE have also three ports to use the VFL with Python, Java and R programming languages.

    Acoustic Research Tool (ART)

    Acoustic Research Tool (ART)

Acoustic Simulation Library for Frequency and Time Domain Simulations.

ART is a flexible simulation framework for wind instruments. It includes a growing library of modelling elements. So far bore discontinuities, branches, tone holes, cylindrical and conical tubes, Bessel horns and bent tubes are available for frequency domain modelling. In the time domain generic bidirectional propagation elements, scattering elements, fractional delays, convolution with reflection functions and general z-domain networks are available and can be described using MuParserX expressions. Cylindrical and conical ducts can also be defined based on their geometry. Available models and their parameters can be enumerated and combined to form simulators for complex acoustical structures. Parameters can be specified symbolically by expressions containing other parameter values or global variables. Dependencies between parameters are resolved at run time. However, MuParserX expressions are compiled at design time. Zero-delay loops are detected and reported.
