Luacheck is a static analyzer and a linter for Lua. Luacheck detects various issues such as usage of undefined global variables, unused variables and values, accessing uninitialized variables, unreachable code and more. Most aspects of checking are configurable: there are options for defining custom project-related globals, for selecting set of standard globals (version of Lua standard library), for filtering warnings by type and name of related variable, etc. The options can be used on the command line, put into a config or directly into checked files as Lua comments. Luacheck supports checking Lua files using the syntax of Lua 5.1, Lua 5.2, Lua 5.3, and LuaJIT. Luacheck itself is written in Lua and runs on all of the mentioned Lua versions. -

jscodeshift is a toolkit for running codemods over multiple JavaScript or TypeScript files. It provides A runner, which executes the provided transform for each file passed to it. It also outputs a summary of how many files have (not) been transformed. A wrapper around recast, providing a different API. Recast is an AST-to-AST transform tool and also tries to preserve the style of original code as much as possible. As already mentioned, jscodeshift also provides a wrapper around recast. In order to properly use the jscodeshift API, one has to understand the basic building blocks of recast (and ASTs) as well. An AST node is a plain JavaScript object with a specific set of fields, in accordance with the Mozilla Parser API. The primary way to identify nodes is via their type. It's OK to not know the structure of every AST node type. The (esprima) AST explorer is an online tool to inspect the AST for a given piece of JS code. -

Autograd
Efficiently computes derivatives of numpy code
Autograd can automatically differentiate native Python and Numpy code. It can handle a large subset of Python's features, including loops, ifs, recursion and closures, and it can even take derivatives of derivatives of derivatives. It supports reverse-mode differentiation (a.k.a. backpropagation), which means it can efficiently take gradients of scalar-valued functions with respect to array-valued arguments, as well as forward-mode differentiation, and the two can be composed arbitrarily. The main intended application of Autograd is gradient-based optimization. For more information, check out the tutorial and the examples directory. We can continue to differentiate as many times as we like, and use numpy's vectorization of scalar-valued functions across many different input values. -

Feflow (pronounced /ˈfefləʊ/) is a front-end flow and rule tool to improve engineering efficiency., and is hosted on Github: feflow. At present, it has been used in many applications, such as Now, Huayang Live, Huayang Friends, Mobile QQ Near Hand, Group Video, Group Gift, Huiyin, Tencent Myapp, Penguins and etc. With 80+ WEB/IOS/Andriod stable users, the cumulative production project reached 240+. Feflow refers to the thinking of Pipeline and divides work into five steps: init, develop, build, test, deploy. And corresponding to five basic commands: init, dev, build, test, and deploy. In addition to serving basic development workflows and specifications, Feflow provides an easy-to-expand plug-in mechanism for creating a team-wide toolchain ecosystem. Feflow only provides a CLI and kernel. The CLI is responsible for interacting with the command line terminal. -

PHP Parser
A PHP parser written in PHP
This is a PHP 5.2 to PHP 8.0 parser written in PHP. Its purpose is to simplify static code analysis and manipulation. A parser is useful for static analysis, manipulation of code and basically any other application dealing with code programmatically. A parser constructs an Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) of the code and thus allows dealing with it in an abstract and robust way. As the parser is based on the tokens returned by token_get_all (which is only able to lex the PHP version it runs on), additionally a wrapper for emulating tokens from newer versions is provided. This allows to parse PHP 7.4 source code running on PHP 7.0, for example. This emulation is somewhat hacky and not perfect, but it should work well on any sane code. Support for pretty printing, which is the act of converting an AST into PHP code. Please note that "pretty printing" does not imply that the output is especially pretty. -

Semantic
Parsing, analyzing, and comparing source code across many languages
semantic is a Haskell library and command line tool for parsing, analyzing, and comparing source code. Run semantic --help for complete list of up-to-date options. Semantic uses tree-sitter to generate parse trees, but layers in a more generalized notion of syntax terms across all supported programming languages. We'll see why this is important when we get to diffs and program analysis, but for now let's just inspect some output. It helps to have a simple program to parse. Symbols are named identifiers driven by the ASTs. This is the format that github.com uses to generate code navigation information allowing c-tags style lookup of symbolic names for fast, incremental navigation in all the supported languages. The incremental part is important because files change often so we want to be able to parse just what's changed and not have to analyze the entire project again. -

Super-Linter
Combination of multiple linters to install as a GitHub Action
This repository is for the GitHub Action to run a Super-Linter. It is a simple combination of various linters, written in bash, to help validate your source code. The super-linter finds issues and reports them to the console output. Fixes are suggested in the console output but not automatically fixed, and a status check will show up as failed on the pull request. The design of the Super-Linter is currently to allow linting to occur in GitHub Actions as a part of continuous integration occurring on pull requests as the commits get pushed. It works best when commits are being pushed early and often to a branch with an open or draft pull request. There is some desire to move this closer to local development for faster feedback on linting errors but this is not yet supported. There is no need to set the GitHub Secret as it is automatically set by GitHub, it only needs to be passed to the action. -
