Command history file -- no pydb commands

I use pydb from within ipython. The command history file, written on exit from pydb \(within an ipython shell\) write ipython command history, but not pydb command history. Pydb run as standalone writes the pydb commands to the history file. It also writes the ipython history \(for some reason\). The latter makes no sense to me. pydb history should contain only pydb commands. Then the history can be re-run with the pydb 'source' command. Omitting pydb commands from the command history if run within ipython seems to be a bug to me, in any case. -Tony tony.mannucci@jpl.nasa.gov
