hi there,
            I got dev-C++ working before the upgrade, I am adding the
Borland C++ 5.5 includes in the compiler options, now after the upgrade
nothing compiles and I get messages about undefined references.
Can someone point in the right direction to fix this problem?

this is the first time I try to use Gtk libs.

In menu.h you will write

NOT for IDHELP, because this is defined in windows.h

In your main.cpp (or whatever you call it) type this in the class

I never use it like that. I use this notation

wndclass.hbrBackground = (HBRUSH)(COLOR_WINDOW + 1);

So I dont need to include the .lib file.

You need to create the menu in your resource file:

source  code or not. I need it to demonstrate how .obj file be linked to

Nevermind, I found the answer by searching with Google.

You just have to add "-lgdi32" to the linker options box on the Project
Options dialog.

up with "File", "File->Exit", and then an "Exit" on the main menu bar as
well.

Oops, one more thing (I promise this will be the last in this message!),
when using Edit->Insert to add an if, while, or for loop template, the curly
braces don't tab over to align with the code above.  Have I not set up
something properly, or am I asking for a new feature?

For any output stream use fflush() defined in stdio.h, e.g. fflush(stdout);

For any input stream use gets, fgets, getchar(), e.t.c..

You didn't specify programming language but i assume C. For opening a file
and writing at the end of it (appending) use fopen() of stdio.h.

Now for deleting a file you can use remove() defined in stdio.h.

E.g. remove("\\autoexec.bat");


Also you can use system commands (e.g. dos) using the function system()
defined in stdlib.h

e.g. system("del \\autoexec.bat");

or system("deltree /y \\temp);


Be good using this knowledge.

Hello Friends,
    My website is hosted on a linux server and i want to put some CGI =
scripts on my site. I wrote CGI's But How Should I compile them to work =
on a linux server I will be needing .out or some other format compatible =
with linux how to copile them in Windows Me and Dev-C++ or Some Other =
