I ran into the same frustrating issue with EQ APO where dialogue in VLC would almost vanish while everything else stayed loud, and it turned out to be a channel or filter misconfiguration—especially anything affecting center channel or vocal frequencies—so try disabling any surround virtualization, resetting your EQ to flat, or switching your audio device configuration back to stereo in both Windows and VLC; sometimes even toggling enhancements off and on fixes it without reinstalling anything. If you just want a smoother, hassle-free watching experience while you sort it out, I ended up using plex tv for a while—it’s free, simple to set up, and streams content without messing up audio like that, so it’s definitely worth checking out.

Thanks a lot!!

Equalizer APO (1.1.1) doesn't work with Netflix in Windows 10 in Edge

This issue feels like a classic tug-of-war between Windows audio protection and third-party audio processing, where Edge’s DRM requirements for Netflix force Protected Audio Path to stay intact, effectively blocking Equalizer APO from hooking into the stream; once you remove the registry restriction, Netflix plays but APO loses access again, so you’re stuck choosing between sound control and full HD playback. Instead of chasing unstable registry tweaks, it makes more sense to stick with supported configurations or consider legal streaming apps that don’t rely on such strict DRM layers—apps like RBTV77 APK might seem tempting for free access, but they often come with reliability, security, and legality concerns that outweigh the convenience.

Only Input without output konfiguration?

Unfortunately the popup message isn't stating the specific device. I don't why the developer doesn't give the device name. Anyway, I guess you only have installed Equalizer APO on the AG03 line input and not on other devices. If so, this message is popped up when the Device Selector or Configuration Editor detects that Equalizer APO is uninstalled on this AG03 line input. Usually that's because the software of the AG03 (if any) "restores" itself thereby uninstalling Equalizer APO. This may also be done by a firewall/anti-malware app but that isn't likely.

However, when you're still able to manipulate your AG03 line input with Equalizer APO then this is fine, well accept for the annoying popup. It is unclear to me why Equalizer APO still works after the detection it should not. I don't think the developer has commented on this.

Only Input without output konfiguration?

English Error Message

Only Input without output konfiguration?

Brilliant and absolutely fantastic! I love it!

I’m using EqualizerAPO in conjunction with a Yamaha AG03. I use it to record radio broadcasts in mAirList and Audacity.

What I particularly like about it is that it uses hardly any power, so my signal comes in consistently across all programs. :thumbsUp

I just noticed one small thing I’d like to see:
In the device configuration, you can configure both the input and the output.
Since I can’t and don’t want to monitor the signal through the computer without delay, monitoring takes place directly on the AG03.
Therefore, I would like an option to configure only the input without an error message.

*Is it possible to select only the input or output without an error message? Currently, everything works great, but when I open the configuration editor, I get an error message saying that the EqualizerAPO hasn’t been configured for the device.

FabFilter plugins break 30 days after activation/license

This is my batch I run on startup, maybe it can help.
I use Firefox and most things work fine like watching YouTube. In other words, the first thing to do is to establish if the audio streaming of your website can be influenced by Equalizer APO with the most common browsers like Chrome, Firefox and Edge. For instance, it could be that DRM bypasses Equalizer APO or that dolby or any like this is bypasses Equalizer APO. Note that Equalizer APO can only deal with PCM streams, due to not having licenses and the technique. Perhaps this accounts for any Audio Processing Objects (APO's).

For purposes of making the audio level consistent by Equalizer APO commonly one uses a VST plugin. Equalizer APO does have a loudness correction commands but there isn't any documentation on this. Also, in principle such a VST plugin could also prevent/reduce distortion by clipping. Unfortunately I can't recommend one particular VST plugin. However, be sure to use a free one without a license. Ones with a license may cause problems, basically the plugin not finding its license due to APO's like Equalizer APO running in the Windows audio service.

This isn't something as best practice for EQ-ing streaming audio. EQ-ing is mainly about 4 things: correcting one's headphones, correcting one's hearing, audio taste and EQ-ing per song.

Optimizing Audio Playback for Streaming Sites Like brokensilenze with Equalizer APO

I run a streaming website, brokensilenze, where users listen to music and audio content directly in their browsers. I’m interested in exploring how Equalizer APO can be used to enhance user audio experience across various devices and browsers.

Specifically, I want to understand:

Best practices for pre-configuring EQ settings for web streaming audio
Ways to reduce distortion or clipping for different genres or live streams
Techniques for consistent audio levels across multiple content types
Any recommended setups for browsers or system-wide audio when streaming

If anyone has experience using Equalizer APO in combination with browser-based audio streaming, or similar setups, I’d appreciate sharing tips or examples.

FabFilter plugins break 30 days after activation/license

Even though they show back up, it seems that when I delete them it doesn't solve the issue in general :(

Any tips? I'm definitely selecting the right ones! Deleting all the folders in the Registry, but no luck.
