Hi I have a photocopy machine. It's called Toshiba eStudio2323 AMW. I want to make an app. That can scan By this device and print With another color printer. I'm also trying with Google anti gravity. I was able to fix the problem by deleting this folder: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\icopy P.S. After clicking the "Export to PDF" button, it is impossible after that to go back to "print to printer". "Export to PDF" button apparently messes up config files in the "C:\Users\\AppData\Local\icopy " folder. The folder is not deleted by the uninstall. So even unistall/install fixes the issue. It would be nice if someone updated the program. The patch provided DOES...

Dear Dawish, this should happen if you selected the option to register iCopy to the scanner buttons when installing it. When you press the button on the scanner, iCopy should then be listed in the available programs, and can be set as default. Hello. Can iCopy function 'Fire-and-forget' style? I.e. 1. A user clicks 'Scan' button on a scanner. 2. That click INSTANTLY makes iCopy to order printing, so the user doesn't have to interact with the intermediate PC. P.S. Surprisingly many users (especially busy ones or elder ones) will definitely not use the software which requires unreasonable additional efforts (=problems). Thank you!

Dear Matthew, currently, iCopy doesn't store the selected number of copies on close, as I considered it to be a setting that changes frequently. You are the first user to ask about this, so I would suppose it is a specific request. If you really need to have 2 copies as default, I believe you should be able to modify the iCopy.settings file which is stored either in C:/Users//AppData/Local/iCopy or in the iCopy executable folder. I found in HP drivers ISIS Twain and installed it, however the same invertion. Also I tried to use a twain scan through Acrobat - it's okay. Again I've tried out with iCopy the res 75,150 and colors 8,16,32 bit. No luck.

Bit depth changing does not helping, Also saving to jpeg giving colors are inverted. Only two things allows make a properly scan - Set res to 300 and if I choose duplex scan. I noticied now, on second PC (Win7) where now scanner is connected (I do not remember if on 1st pc(winxp) if there was the same or not), there is no Twain interface availble. Only WIA. Could it lead to problem?

Dear noszone, I'm sorry for the late reply. This problem really puzzles me as iCopy only takes the bitmap result from the scanner and saves it to PDF/sends it to printer. Also the fact that changing the resolution fixes the problem is weird. Have you tried changing the bit depth from the settings dialog? Also, can you please test if the color inversion happens also when printing or saving to file (not PDF)?

I followed the steps described by Martin : he is completly right. Thx to him If iCopy behave as designed between "To PDF" and To file" (i.e. commute between both during the same session), it NEVER switch back dynamically to "To print". I did some testing on this: Installing 1.70 and going back version by version, I experienced this issue with 1.70, 1.66, 1.65 and 1.64. Only as I went back to icopy 1.63 it worked as it should. I then compared the icopy-settings-files of these versions which I had preserved, in each case after I tried to switch back to the printer output and closed the program afterwards: in 1.70 and other cases where it is not possible to switch to the printer output, in the section "LastScanSettings" it reads PDF...

Hi All, Scanning in color from ADF give me 2nd page colors are inverted. For example, on second page it converts blue color to green, on 3rd blue to red. Does not matter it's a jpeg or pdf. The scanner and its driver need to be WIA compatible to be detected by iCopy (which is calling WIA API function in order to get the scanner list). As for the internal error, please attach a log file as explained in the FAQ.
