i'm uploading a zip file, with a xls inside. Then i open it and i extract some values from the excel file.
Sometimes the values i get is differente from the one that is in the excel file.
For example, in the excel file the value is "211111060" but the value i get is "-862630764".

Anyone can help, please?

Thanks in advance.

f

dfdsf

Text styling

I was wondering if it was possible to get the text formatting from the xls sheets. Such as, background color of collumn, bold, italic, font color... So I can create exactly the same lay-out as in the xls. If so, how can I do this? If not, perhaps this is a new idea..?

i wanted to use this on a 64bit system and had problems with the GetInt4d() function.

i found via google already a solution to have it on all systems working:

function GetInt4d($data, $pos) {
$_or_24 = ord($data[$pos+3]);
if ($_or_24>=128) $_ord_24 = -abs((256-$_or_24) << 24);
else $_ord_24 = ($_or_24&127) << 24;

return ord($data[$pos]) | (ord($data[$pos+1]) << 8) |
(ord($data[$pos+2]) << 16) | $_ord_24;
}

maybe someone can add this code to the repository

reading date columns

hi,
after adding the one-day difference in the code I still have problems whilereading the date-columns in the file (attachment).
sometimes the date is correct, mostly there is just the internal value..
maybe there is something wrong in the excel-file, which is controlled by the user :-(
thanx in advance
