Fails to Recognise MPEG files

Please see attached log. All my DV files were converted to MPEG-2 files in KINO. These are not recognised by Qdvdauthor.

save command parameters

When the final request appears before generating the
DVD file structure, the contents of the fields showing
the commands should be saved.

E.g. there is a bug "Could not read YUV4MPEG2 header:
stream requires unsupported features!" that can be
solved by adding the parameter "-S 420mpeg2" for the
call of ppmtoy4m. Unfortunately, I have to add this
option every time ... :-(

burn option missing from latest cvs

in the latest cvs version, the option to burn the dvd
to a disk, i was wondering if this is a bug or it has
been left out on purpose?

Questions Re. Button Mask Issue

Hi Varol,

Thanks for a fantastic piece of software. I've been
using QDVDAuthor for some months now and have been
following the forums to resolve my few small issues
along the way.

The one problem that now remains is the "Cannot pick
button masks" issue. In your reply to oxstone last
week, you seem to have resolved this issue in the
latest CVS and his reply confirmed that it had worked
for him.

I excitedly downloaded the Dec 7th CVS build from your
home page link and it compiled with no problems that I
could see. Help=>About shows that I'm definately
running your new build, but the Button Mask issue still
remains.

My questions:
Should I need to re-build my DVD project from scratch
with the new version to resolve the issue?

Do I need to remove any of the project's temporary data
(incorrectly formed PNG's, etc.) before trying to
Create the DVD with the new version?

I'm running Fedora Core 4 with all updates in place.

Useful GUI

Putting my support requests aside, this seems to be a
useful tool.

My RCA DVD recorder is giving me problems, however.
So far, I am not able to dvd-rip tracks from the RCA
DVD recorder into tracks acceptable by dvdauthor. But
that seems to be another issue not related to this program.

"arecord" needs to be mentioned as a needed utility.
(It wasn't installed by default on my system.)

Last-Chosen Font

In text-entering box, remember the last-chosen font,
style, size, etc.

Text Color

In text-entering box, don't change text color in the
box; otherwise, if text color "White" is chosen, the
text disappears. (Follow "GIMP" text-entering behavior.)

Text Grids

Add a configurable grid to which new text can be aligned.

Main Menu VMGM

When adding text in Main Menu VMGM, don't auto-wrap;
respect text format entered in text box. (I had to
enter "_" between words to prevent text wrapping.)
