being run on a Monday; if so, it initiates a full&lt;br /&gt;
backup (by erasing the snapshot file). The test for&lt;br /&gt;
Monday is performed by getting the 3-letter name for&lt;br /&gt;
the current day and comparing it against "Mon". This&lt;br /&gt;
doesn't work in many non-English languages, so the full&lt;br /&gt;
backup is never run (except when the snapshot file&lt;br /&gt;
