Find (CTRL+F) trouble

Whenever I click on 'Find' or use the command CTRL+F in order to find something from the text, the box appears and disappears instantly. I tried re-installing the software but I still have the same issue. I am using windows 10. Please help !

When I try to open Unicode (utf-8) subtitles without BOM (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byte_order_mark), the result gets garbled (see screenshot). Subtiles wit BOM work fine. An example file with one subtitle that should read

Testovací soubor.
Krásné české znaky: ěščřžýáíé.

is attached.

video prewiew doesn't work

i just downloaded vss the latest version, my operating system is vista; the problem is about the video that might be showing on the right side; the video remains black, audio is workingh though, and the video appears in some flash if i drag the window for the video around the page, but it appears for one second (correctly displyed with audio) and then just desappears. i try it with different files and always the same. i downloaded the codec too, obviously. audio is working fine.

The previous problem of a freeze of the software on a click-drag on the audio display stills. Now, I have a new problem (under Windows 10), the video preview is truncated, I have to make floating windows, bring it to the left side of my screen to see the video completely. No way to make a screenshot, because the video does not appear on it...

#25 Problem extracting peak/wav from AC3 MKV

So, I don't have the problem any longer, but since I created this bug report, I would like to explain what I did to fix it.
Before I created this bug, I went to the Filter list and got these lines:

Haali Media Splitter - {55DA30FC-F16B-49FC-BAA5-AE59FC65F82D} - C:\Program Files\Haali\MatroskaSplitter\splitter.ax (1.13.138.14)

So, normally that's fine. But if you're wondering how I was able to get the list, eventhough the problem is resolved for me, the answer is simple: The list didn't change (except for maybe the version if AC3Filter).

Somehow - don't ask me how - AC3Filter.ax must have gotten on my computer with another application. Anyway - downloaded and installed the AC3 Filter from the codec page in the documentation - and boom: it works. Now don't ask me, why it used to work and all of a sudden stopped working - I don't know! But now it works, and that's the important thing.

Dans la liste de gauche tu choisis "LAV Splitter Source"
puis tu clic sur "Insert" et tu choisis ton fichier video.

Pareil pour "LAV Audio Decoder" "Insert"
et "LAV Video Decoder" "Insert".

Tu fermes la boite de dialogue puis tu connectes les filtres, comme sur l'image suivante pour le principe : http://blog.monogram.sk/janos/download/tools/graphstudio.png mais en suivant les connexion que j'ai indiqué.

Je suis désolé de te déranger une fois de plus mais, il faut vraiment m'aider en détail car je ne suis pas prêt de trouver la solution au problème. Après avoir ouvert GraphStudio, j'ai suivi l'étape
