Minify
Go minifiers for web formats
Minify is a minifier package written in Go. It provides HTML5, CSS3, JS, JSON, SVG and XML minifiers and an interface to implement any other minifier. Minification is the process of removing bytes from a file (such as whitespace) without changing its output and therefore shrinking its size and speeding up transmission over the internet and possibly parsing. The implemented minifiers are designed for high performance. The core functionality associates mime-types with minification functions, allowing embedded resources (like CSS or JS within HTML files) to be minified as well. Users can add new implementations that are triggered based on a mime-type (or pattern) or redirect to an external command (like ClosureCompiler, UglifyCSS,). Minifiers or bindings to minifiers exist in almost all programming languages. Some implementations are merely using several regular expressions to trim whitespace and comments. -

Zero-config tool to make locally trusted development certificates
mkcert is a simple tool for making locally-trusted development certificates. It requires no configuration. Using certificates from real certificate authorities (CAs) for development can be dangerous or impossible (for hosts like example.test, localhost or 127.0.0.1), but self-signed certificates cause trust errors. Managing your own CA is the best solution, but usually involves arcane commands, specialized knowledge and manual steps. mkcert automatically creates and installs a local CA in the system root store, and generates locally-trusted certificates. mkcert does not automatically configure servers to use the certificates, though, that's up to you. The CA certificate and its key are stored in an application data folder in the user's home. You usually don't have to worry about it, as the installation is automated, but the location is printed by mkcert -CAROOT. -

This package provides various compression algorithms. zstandard compression and decompression in pure Go. S2 is a high-performance replacement for Snappy. Optimized deflate packages which can be used as a dropin replacement for gzip, zip and zlib. snappy is a drop-in replacement for github.com/golang/snappy offering better compression and concurrent streams. huff0 and FSE implementations for raw entropy encoding. gzhttp Provides client and server wrappers for handling gzipped requests efficiently. pgzip is a separate package that provides a very fast parallel gzip implementation. Stream decompression is now faster on asynchronous since the goroutine allocation much more effectively splits the workload. On typical streams, this will typically use 2 cores fully for decompression. When a stream has finished decoding no goroutines will be left over, so decoders can now safely be pooled and still be garbage collected. -

In most cases after provisioning cluster using kops, kubeadm or any other popular tool, the ClusterRole cluster-admin already exists in the cluster. We can use it and create only ClusterRoleBinding for our ServiceAccount. If it does not exist then you need to create this role first and grant required privileges manually. -

Benthos is a high performance and resilient stream processor, able to connect various sources and sinks in a range of brokering patterns and perform hydration, enrichments, transformations and filters on payloads. It comes with a powerful mapping language, is easy to deploy and monitor, and ready to drop into your pipeline either as a static binary, docker image, or serverless function, making it cloud native as heck. Delivery guarantees can be a dodgy subject. Benthos processes and acknowledges messages using an in-process transaction model with no need for any disk persisted state, so when connecting to at-least-once sources and sinks it's able to guarantee at-least-once delivery even in the event of crashes, disk corruption, or other unexpected server faults. This behaviour is the default and free of caveats, which also makes deploying and scaling Benthos much simpler. -

kube-bench is a tool that checks whether Kubernetes is deployed securely by running the checks documented in the CIS Kubernetes Benchmark. Trivy, the all-in-one cloud-native security scanner, can be deployed as a Kubernetes Operator inside a cluster. Both, the Trivy CLI, and the Trivy Operator support CIS Kubernetes Benchmark scanning among several other features. There are multiple ways to run kube-bench. You can run kube-bench inside a pod, but it will need access to the host's PID namespace in order to check the running processes, as well as access to some directories on the host where config files and other files are stored.
