One of the hardest things to do when coding with COBOL is translating a screen design into code. The process may take hours, not to say days. In my old BLIS-COBOL, COBOL 74 and COBOL 80 /85 days (and those last 2 had the SCREEN SECTION which helped a lot !), I recall spending a significant amount of time dedicated to that activity. Time that could be used for more productive activities like coding and resolving bugs, for instance. Having said that, I developed a Screen Editor (similar to a Screen Painter, as some tools may call it) which allows the user to create screen layouts (which includes the use of colors) with delimited fields and respective input masks, and finally generate the SCREEN SECTION code that reflects that layout. All of it automatically - no code needed. The idea came from a program I used to use named EDITEL. I have adapted the concept (it was originally built for BLIS COBOL systems) and created a version that does this for GnuCOBOL and Microfocus COBOL. Enjoy !

OnBoard-NG is a fork of the OnBoardC IDE which allows developers to create completely native PalmOS applications that require no runtime or outside libraries just as you can create on a desktop IDE such as prc-tools. It will be plugin based.

This is yet another long-term project (YALP?). The aim is to write a portable GUI/OS for Atari ST, Amiga and DOS. The code must be small, fast and support modern GUI features. ie: Embedded component controls. The code current compiles with Highspeed Pascal (Atari ST) or FreePascal. I hope to have it compiling for the Amiga (also using Highspeed Pascal), and supporting a built in p-code compiler/interpreter for cross platform development.

OpenGL based 2D/3D graphic crossplatform engine written on Free Pascal. Very amateurish. Currently project PhloXLib stopped or developed very slow.

Based upon my 20+ year old super fast QCrt text mode display driver, QuickCrt is an event driven object-oriented framework for rapid application development using Turbo Pascal 7.0 for DOS. Completely self contained, it uses no 3rd party or original Borland units (excluding the built-in System unit). It uses no Turbo Vision and is more like Delphi minus the drag and drop. It has support for String formatting, Custom text fonts, Themes, Keyboard mappings, Config files and Multiple languages baked into it. However, this initial version is more of a "Proof of Concept" and engine for PGME. Rather than an actual project. It has some serious limitations. Since it was built in a "vacuum" with no pre-planning, it is a little bit of spaghetti code. Also, it doesn't support real windowing, multi-tasking or draw behind visible objects. QCrt 9 is currently under development. It is a complete rewrite in assembly with TP wrappers. It is being hosted at http://github.com/LoopZ/QCrt

TGridCalendar provides a month calendar based on the Lazarus Component Library (LCL) written in ObjectPascal. It is published under a modified LGPL wich additional allows static linking (the default licencse of the LCL).
