TurboVNC
High-speed, 3D-friendly, TightVNC-compatible remote desktop software
TurboVNC is a high-performance, enterprise-quality version of VNC based on TightVNC, TigerVNC, and X.org. It contains a variant of Tight encoding that is tuned for maximum performance and compression with 3D applications (VirtualGL), video, and other image-intensive workloads. TurboVNC, in combination with VirtualGL, provides a complete solution for remotely displaying 3D applications with interactive performance. TurboVNC's high-speed encoding methods have been adopted by TigerVNC and libvncserver, and TurboVNC is also compatible with any other TightVNC derivative. TurboVNC forked from TightVNC in 2004 and still covers all of the TightVNC 1.3.x features, but TurboVNC contains numerous feature enhancements and bug fixes relative to TightVNC, and it compresses 3D and video workloads much better than TightVNC while using generally only 5-20% of the CPU time of the latter. Using non-default settings, TurboVNC can also be made to compress 2D workloads as "tightly" as TightVNC. -

A Project dedicated to making GPU Partitioning on Windows easier
Easy-GPU-PV is an open-source project that automates the relatively complex steps required to set up GPU Paravirtualization (GPU-PV) on Windows Hyper-V, letting you partition a physical GPU and assign slices to virtual machines for low-latency remote use. It creates and installs a Windows VM, copies the necessary GPU-PV driver files into the VM, and helps install Parsec (an ultra-low-latency remote-desktop client) so you can connect to the VM at high framerates. The repo is practical and script-driven: the author provides PowerShell scripts (PreChecks.ps1, CopyFilesToVM.ps1, Update-VMGpuPartitionDriver.ps1, etc.) plus configuration values and an unattended install template to minimize manual steps. The README documents hardware and OS prerequisites (Windows 10 20H1+/Windows 11 Pro/Enterprise/Education, matched host/VM versions, virtualization and Hyper-V enabled, recent GPU drivers, and supported GPUs. -

IBM's Software Trusted Platform Module (TPM) includes a TPM 1.2 implementation, low level demo libraries and command line tools, a TPM test suite, and proxies to connect from a TCP/IP socket to a hardware TPM. tpm4769 is the latest version, with TPM side support for OpenSSL 1.1. Instructions: After starting this VM, enable the Play Store app, by clicking the Settings -> Apps -> Play Store -> Enable. Then, Launch Play Store App, by clicking the 3 vertical dots icon, at the bottom of desktop. Then download whatever app is needed from the Play Store. Quickly, Cancel any automatic downloads of Play Store app ( itself ), from the notification drawer, as this will prevent it from its future working. Disable the Play Store app, after your other app installs are completed. Increase CPU Count and Memory in VM's Settings, as required, for better performance. If you are very new to virtual machines, then please refer the Wiki Page for its setup instructions, for all major operating systems.
