I’ve tried just about all the USB flash drive formatting tools that I could find including Sd Card Formatter and USB Disk Storage Format Tool and many others that I can’t remember right now. At the end of the day I haven’t found 1 USB flash drive formatting tool that works any better than “FormatUsb”. Its only about 1.8 megabytes in size and it's portable so it doesn't need to be installed and it works very fast. It will also format in the following file formats: FAT32, NTFS, UDF, exFAT, ex2 and ex3. I have used this for many years and found it to be reliable and fast.
