Astonishing piece of work there timeslip! Many thanks. I am still wondering whether this hasn't come to mind yet or it's not implementable: Sound setting - music playing during dialogue screens - it has always bugged me how the marvelous ambient music turns off upon entering to dialogue screen and then restarts itself when getting back.
